A new member of the board of directors

It is not only new clients and projects that enrich the portfolio of xappido ag in Sursee. It can now also count concentrated know-how and real brainpower in the form of a new board member: Harald Wojnowski has been appointed to the board of directors.

This followed a unanimous vote at the extraordinary general meeting of xappido ag on 10 July 2018. “We are glad to have found in Harald Wojnowski a proven expert who will work out strategic goals and internal improvement processes with us,” says xappido CEO Sandro Wymann. “As a manager with many years of business experience, he will also be a capable source of support in putting them into practice.”

Experienced in engineering and business

Harald Wojnowski, born in 1962, is a trained electrical engineer and worked from 1992 to 2018 at the distributor ALSO Schweiz AG, most recently as Chief Customer Officer with responsibility for the management of the business. Since the autumn of 2018 Wojnowski has been CEO and delegate of the board of directors of Logic Group AG, based in Zug, where he is once again closely involved in technology. How does he see his role on the xappido board? “As a versatile person with wide-ranging interests, I love understanding how things connect across systems while at the same time getting to the bottom of them. And I believe in the strength of networks: as a team we always achieve more than each of us acting alone.” When the enquiry came from xappido, Harald Wojnowski did not hesitate for a second. The founders’ courage and their capacity for innovation inspire him: “The people working here are young and creative, and they have committed themselves to the principle of building solutions in such a way that the user is relieved of complexity wherever possible and can concentrate on their core work.” The software company from Sursee, he adds, also has the skills needed to optimise procedures and working processes across company boundaries, so that they can be digitalised with minimal effort and support the people using them as far as possible.

xappido with a broad portfolio

With Harald Wojnowski on board, xappido ag starts the new 2019 financial year full of motivation. Over the coming months the company plans to acquire new IT projects and to advance the diversification of its business areas. The basis for this is in place, as xappido ag is broadly positioned: custom software development is as much part of the portfolio as the maintenance and operation of cloud solutions and consultancy in the context of digitalisation.
